Memphis, Tennessee/Israel ~1982

A True Story by Kathy M Storrie

“Hello, I am calling from Israel. May I speak with Mr. Ron Wyatt, please”

“This is Ron Wyatt speaking.” He wondered what was going on. He hoped nothing had happened at his dig site. “May I ask who’s calling?”

“My name’s Lieutenant Eliezer and I’m with the Israel Police Force. Are you the archeologist who’s been excavating on the north side of Jerusalem?

“Yes, that would be me.”

“Did you get a permit?”

“Yes, I got a verbal permit in 1979, but I haven’t found what I’m looking for yet,” said Ron.

Eliezer said,“ ”Whatever’s down got three people.”

“Oh, no! I thought we secured the site,” said Ron. “Did you arrest them?”

“No, I couldn’t arrest them.”

“They got away?”

“No, they didn’t get away.”

“What happened?”

“They’re dead.”

Ron started shaking and collapsed in his recliner. “They’re dead?” His wife got him some water.

“Something happened down there and they died. There’s no blood or a weapon or anything we could see. Nobody will go down there because they’re afraid whatever killed the three men will kill them.

“I see,” Ron said. “But, you went down there?

“Yes, I’m a born again Jew and I’m not afraid but I can’t drag the bodies by myself up to the top.”

So, you want me and my crew to come and get them out?”

“Yes, please, because whatever it is, it favors Christians. I hope you can come soon because the longer the bodies are down there, the faster they’ll decompose and you won’t be able to continue digging for a while.”

Ron called his crew, packed his bags, kissed his wife goodbye, and they were in the air in a couple of hours. The plane trip from Memphis to Tel Aviv would take 14 hours so Ron would explain to his Christian crew why those men died.

When Ron arrived on the secluded site, he was glad the media never got wind of the deaths like Eliezer promised. The sight looked different, but it was still hidden. When they opened the metal door, the smell was so bad they were glad they brought disposable masks. It was going to be a nasty job, but they got busy. After they pulled out the third body bag, Ron called Lt. Eliezer who called the morgue.

The narrow passageway where they found the bodies meant the men never found the secret chamber but they were up to no good. Ron got busy digging, filling bucket after bucket, and disposing of the rocks. After a week, the men made it through four walls of rocks with three passageways between each wall. Ron knew they were getting closer to finding what Jeremiah the prophet had hidden below Golatha, 600 years before Christ died on the cross.

Ron Wyatt will never forget the awesome moment when he hammered his chisel for the last time. Two 10x10 inch rocks fell forward and left a large gap in the stone wall. After the dust settled he shined his flashlight into the almost 2600-year-old chamber. He couldn’t believe his eyes when he saw it! There was the large gold box with two angels at each end.

“We found it! We found it!” he yelled through a three-inch diameter plastic accordion hose (no cell phones) a make-do telephone line to the surface to alert for help or communicate.

“We’re coming with cameras!” they said.

It didn’t take long for Ron to clear the hole to get inside. He was already looking around when they arrived “Look at this!” cried Ron, as he pointed with his flashlight to the huge gold box on a long table. “Guess what this is?”

“It’s the Ark of the Covenant!” the crew said, giving high fives. They took pictures but none of them came out good.

The solid gold Ark had two gold angels on each end with their wings touching on one side. A continuous row of gold teeth formed a crown around the chest. Ron tried to raise the lid to look inside for the 10 Commandments, but it was too heavy.

They found the Table of Show bread (no real bread) and the golden Altar of Incense. As Ron shone his flashlight on the top of the Ark he saw black splatters like something had dripped on it. He looked directly above the Art and his light revealed a dark, oval puddle that had formed on the ceiling.

Ron’s excitement made him grab his pocket knife. “Does anybody have an empty film canister?” He was handed two. He scraped some of the dark residues from the top of the Ark in one canister and from the ceiling into the other. They asked him what he thought the black residue was but he wasn’t sure.

On their way back to the hotel he dropped one canister off at a Jewish blood lab to check the chromosome count (46 are normal; 23 from the mother and 23 from father). They checked it under the microscope while he was there and said the blood was lifeless and couldn’t be revived.

Ron said, “I know it’s lifeless, but if you put a few drops of saline in a Petri dish with some of the dried blood if will revive. I’ll be back in 48 hours. Keep it away from cold and heat.”

When Ron returned, five lab technicians came out from behind the curtain. The older man said, “Mr. Wyatt, there is something strange about this blood. The saline returned the life of the blood but the chromosomes are off.”

Being an anesthesiologist for 20 years, Ron was not surprised about that. He said, “How many chromosomes?” Another Jewish, dark-haired technician said, “24 chromosomes. 23 X from the mother (Mary) and one chromosome (Y) from the father. (God His Father). Whose blood is this!”

A huge smile reached Ron Wyatt’s light blue eyes when he realized the miracle. He said, “Gentlemen, this blood belongs to your Messiah, Jesus Christ!”

All five Jewish men drew back from Ron Wyatt with moans of surprise and disbelief.

To be continued if I get five claps.

Learn more about Ron Wyatt on YouTubes and see how he came to this conclusion that the dry blood on the Ark and ceiling actually belongs to Jesus Christ the Son of God. It will blow your mind when you hear how God did it. Ron was ridiculed by believers and unbelievers, alike, about his 10 lost Biblical discoveries and especially the Ark of the Covenant. He searched 20 years for these things and not to become famous, but to help people believe in Jesus who died for them and get saved.
